September 22nd, 2025- The Magna Law Firm is pleased to announce that we recently obtained a civil rights settlement on behalf of our client in the amount of $250,000 against the State of Washington.
Our client was an inmate at the Washington State Penitentiary and his case involved a three-month delay in the treatment of his Stage 1 lung cancer. Thankfully, doctors were still able to treat his cancer before it spread.
Our client was ecstatic with this settlement, especially considering that we were able to obtain this result without the need of litigation.
